Reflections

I've been working on a new digital series based on reflections.

I've been looking out the kitchen window for years.  Looking at
the pond.  So many reflections, so many sunsets over the
Connecticut river.

Why have I waited so long to make some reflection art.  It's right
there in front of me.

I think we forget to see the beauty in the everyday.  These everydays are printed at
 10.5 x 14 image size.

t\Thank you for the visit, but you have me at a disadvantage. I know very little spanish and when I visit your site, I can only say the photos are compelling. The 'Keds' peeking out are very smart.

There is something beautiful about naked trees and you certainly have captured it. btw- you've inspired me to do my own series.I'll be ready when the gallery opens in the Village Center.

Well...i'm not very good at english, sorry me too.
But,if you've got curiosity,this is a kind of translation of "Trencasospirs" :

****
Smashsighs *
Routine , stairs , breakfast with an only cup...
All is more and more small, like sighs. It seems that
we're accustomed to see
how our heart is shrinking (he's surrendered to the calendar ).
And no...it's not talk for the sake of talking ,
we're not a interests creator , we're wind ;
we are sun , moon , sand , sea , beach , salt ... we are a marble
enclosed in the stomach of a box .
And there are more and more gray instead of blue, cities don't let breathe...
Like a fisherman of shores in Madrid ; without
breeze , like Lorca without any gull

Con lo pequeño que es el tiempo
¿quién recogerá el perdío'?
...
Anda, deja que te acompañe
que (song's bit )
It's not a moment to walk alone *

( Have you ever heard a poet called Federico García Lorca? It's he (in his work "Poet in New York" ) )

very cool site.. It is clear that their was much thought involved... lots of interest.
I agree... we sometimes fail to see the beauty just before us. So close but so far... We just need to take a little time... life is so fleeting...
lovely work! Thank you, Gwen in Canada

These are gorgeous; the trees elegant, the glowing light beckoning ... Beautiful work. (I would have to be one hell of an artist to make something beautiful of the view from my kitchen window; I'd have to be a David Hockney ... but it strikes me the attempt may be a good lark! I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the inspiration!)

Isn't it odd that we tend to go far and wide looking for that special picture when all along it is right in front of our very own eyes in our yards?

Great pictures.
